History

1962

In summer 1962, Richard H. Steinauer set the corner stone for our company with his wife Thea. As the only real estate company in the region, they managed from home the properties of private and industry owners.

1985

To look for a successor, Mr. and Mrs. Steinauer placed an advertisement in the newspaper. Having the right professional education and experience, Ulrich Andermatt took over the small but well-run company. In the same year, the company was transformed into a joint stock corporation and relocated into a bigger office.

1994

Due to the real estate crises Steinauer Immobilien AG lost some bigger mandates. Instead of resigning, Ulrich Andermatt decided to use the freed capacity to invest into modernisation. As one of the first real estate companies, Steinauer Immobilien AG started to place online advertisements. However at that time, the advertisements still had to be saved on a disk and be sent by post to the real estate portal for publishing.

2002

Arthur Andermatt, the younger son of Ulrich Andermatt, joined the company as a real estate manager. He also took on the project to further modernize the company with regards to IT and initiated structural changes within the team to stay fit for future demands of customers.

2006

The company grew continuously due to good connections, high customer satisfaction and its renowned reputation. Arthur Andermatt took over the role as the new CEO of the company.

2013

The owner shares of Steinauer Immobilien AG was officially transferred to Arthur Andermatt. Following the takeover, the staff was increased in the sales department. After a short testing phase, a own facility service department was being built.

2022

We’re ready for the next generation: We continue to transform our business to a digital property management company with a solid customer satisfaction strategy.
